I have a balvenie coopers reserve no.1 (15 years matured sherry cask) and the tester kit with glasses that got released a few years back all in mint untouched condition.
I was looking for some advice on whether it would be best to hold on to this duo for a while longer or what people would be willing to pay for such a combo.
I've checked on websites and a lot are out of stock so i assume there isn't many left (515 were bottled and 1000 tester kits released).

Check out scotchwhiskyauctions.com it will give you a good idea of what the Balvenie Craftman's Reserve The Cooper currently sells for. It does seem to be still rising in value.

You're probably looking at around £500 for the package. They never got around to doing a craftsman's number 2, and it was only available to warehouse 24 members, and in my view its only going to increase in value so unless you need the money now (or you're going to drink it) then I'd keep hold.

Don't forget you have fees to pay as well as postage on auction listings.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm in the predicament where i sort of need the money but at the same time i've had it so long i'd like to keep it! Sad
As for drinking, it's a whisky far out of my league and i believe it would be wasted on me, so i'd rather someone else enjoy.
