for me most of the macallans are overpriced at this moment in time especially the ruby the same price as the 18 year old but not in the same league
I notice the duty free has got dearer and the latest article in paper and the internet makes it out that its not really duty free

Macallan is overpriced NAS at the bottom of the range, the 12yo Sherry Oak used to be fantastic for the money but the lower offerings aren't a patch on the old range.
People will always buy Macallan because it's Macallan but IMHO better whisky is available for less money so I don't buy Macallan anymore. |

| Rob I have noticed that few members ever post that they are dramming the entry level Macallan NAS whiskies but the Macallan 10 and 12 seemed to be a popular choice for everyday dramming before the NAS range appeared. Not sure if the members here don't rate the NAS range, or think it is overpriced, for me it is a bit of both. |
