In a year, or so, I will be bottling the cask my family purchased - a 1997 isle of Arran cask. We are a little concerned that even with 10 of us drinking; this will leave a lot of whisky to be consumed.

We are currently offering friends and extended family members the possibility of aquiring 5 bottles of cask strength whisky from the isle of Arran for £100. The aim is to release some capital for pay for the duty and bottling charges.

I realise some people may consider this as a risk, but we are willing to offer as many assurances as possible to would be buyers - preparation of stock certificates, personnel contact, home phone numbers anything you need.

To do this we have establish a club, the membership of which is £100. For which you will receive, at time of bottling, 5 bottles of cask strength Arran (70cl).

JohnM in a previous thread has made comment to the sample I sent him ]forum

and Adrian from another forum made these comments
"Hi all

Ok, I have had a little taste of this from a February sample (at cask strength, needless to say) at 8 or so years old. I was not expecting a whole lot, to be honest, as I tried Arran before and wasn't a fan. HOWEVER, this malt was hugely drinkable. It was very rounded, biscuity with some soft citrus. I'm not very good at tasting notes, but this is one you can sit back and relax with. I can't wait 'till it's bottled.

I think everyone who's decided to take some will be pleased."?

If you are interested please make contact through this forum of through ikendal@gmail.com.

I will email you back with a welcome letter and the terms and conditions for the club.

Finally thankyou Raymond for allowing me to post this
