| Great news that as i bought a bottle 70cl yesterday for £15, theres a story behind me buying it, it was the first bottle i bought for my later dad many years ago, so cant wait to try it, Quaich1 is it better than chivas regal12 ? In your view? |

Ballantines is an excellent dram - better than the CR12.
If you like a sweet note then you're in for a treat. |

I love the stuff. I'm currently working on a 750ml bottle but have a 1.75 litre bottle salted away.

| I did enjoy regal 12 so with most saying how good ballentines is, well i just cant wait, when i found single malts i said to myself i wouldnt go back hehe but back.im going. |

Plenty of brilliant blends out there (and blenders). You could do worse than trying any old school stuff from johnnie walker (red excluded) to some of the new boys on the scene, Compass Box and Monkey Shoulder (if you like the Ballantines you'll love this). |

| Well wasnt going to drink today friday as hospital run saturday but at 21.30 i got a call and wasnt needed so i thought id open the ballentines finest, well poured and the nose neally made me chuck to be honest, taste was better so finished the glass, but i think it will be used on visitors as its not me, chivas was better for me... I might have another glass before bedtime.... |
