Laphroaig Live 2015 returns to its Islay home in its 200th anniversary year for a special tasting and world record attempt!
Laphroaig 15 year old - the official 200th Expression one of the whiskies at Laphroaig Live 2015.The ninth annual Laphroaig Live returns to Islay in 2015 just as you would expect as it is the distillery's 200th anniversary year.
To mark this very special anniversary Laphroaig Live is not just returning to the home of Laphroaig, they plan to showcase four phenomenal whiskies as well as going behind the scenes at the distillery with Laphroaig's very own distillery manager on this auspicious year John Campbell who will be joined by no less than five of the previous distillery managers! The first time they have all been together.
This year they will be tasting 4 very special expressions:
◾Laphroaig 15 year old - the official 200th Expression.
◾Laphroaig Cairdeas 2015 - distilled using only the original small stills.
◾Laphroaig 21 year old - created for the Friends of Laphroaig 21st Birthday.
◾Laphroaig 32 year old - 100% sherry matured, a very rare, special expression.
To celebrate this special occasion, Laphroaig will be attempting to set a world record by encouraging the whole global audience to raise a toast to Laphroaig on their 200th anniversary!
You can watch the show live at www.laphroaig.com/live/ on Sept 24th at 8pm local time and if you would like to submit a question for the panel you can send it in now at the above link. Note that John Campbell sends out Laphroaig nosing glasses for the best questions.

| A sample pack of the 4 whiskies to be tasted would be a better gesture for submitting a question then you could join in the tasting. |

I wonder if you submit a question and win a glass will you have to pay the postage for the glass in the same way as when you redeem your Friends of Laphroaig points you have to pay postage |

| Unfortunately I haven't got any of the whiskies in the line-up for tasting but will have to make do with a Laphroaig Quarter Cask and 18 year old |
