William will probably post official info/PR later on but just want to let you know which casks GlenDronach has selected for new Batch 12 of their single cask bottlings:
1972 cask # 706 / 43 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 414 btls / 51.1% vol.
1990 cask # 1375 / 25 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 656 btls / 51.6% vol.
1994 cask # 3237 / 20 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 680 btls / 53.3%vol.
1994 cask # 3398 / 20 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 642 btls / 53.2% vol.
1995 cask # 444 / 20 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 691 btls / 52.0% vol.
1995 cask # 3806 / 19 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 701 btls / 54.5% vol.
1995 cask # 4034 / 19 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 683 btls / 55.4% vol.
2003 cask # 934 / 12 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 714 btls / 53.7% vol.
2004 cask # 5524 / 11 years old / Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon / 704 btls / 57.8% vol.

It's rather interesting that there are selected only PX Puncheons (no Oloroso butts) and that there is no (anticipated) peated cask in this batch.

I know what I will try to get but let's wait for prices for now:

Prices are rather high with this batch of single cask bottling and many are skipping them all together. I've just couldn't resist and bought three 20yo.

Yikes.

Last 19yo I got was the yrs ago and a px butt. It only cost me £70.

Every time I see whisky prices posted it makes me glad that I've moved a lot of my whisky budget over to rum where you can actually buy an outstanding product with an age statement for £30-£40.
