Have you ever heard the expression Christmas gets earlier every year, well this year the first mention of Christmas as far as whisky goes is from Douglas Laing who has announced the launch of their festive cracker (couldn't resist) Big Peat Christmas 2015.



As ever it is without chill-filtration or colouring, bottled at cask strength 53.8% ABV

I will need to let the wife know, she has been buying me this for the last few years, she thinks it is a very festive stocking filler although she cant stand peaty whisky. I do like these cask strength editions.
