Received an email from Glenmorangie see below, £40 including delivery.
Glenmorangie 'A Midwinter Night's Dram' is a Limited Edition single malt which is soft, smooth and warming. It is a marriage of spirits matured in highly select casks which have previously held Bourbon or Oloroso Sherry. It can be enjoyed at anytime, but might be best savoured on a cold winter's night.
On the nose, warming festive notes are first encountered with orange marmalade, toffee and walnuts, followed by wonderful wine-soaked fruit. The texture is rich and restoring. Then comes an explosion of flavours. It is soft and fruity - like classic Glenmorangie Original - but into it is weaved chocolate orange, ginger, walnuts and butter candy.
Pre-order now for delivery next week. 'A Midwinter Night's Dram' is the perfect gift for a loved one or, indeed, as a warming treat to yourself. It comes in a beautiful box and bottle which can be personally engraved when you purchase online. _________________ You can't push anyone up the ladder unless he is ready to climb himself. |

| £40 including postage, could be worth a go and if good could be quite collectable. |

| It does sound interesting, I wonder if it will be available in whisky shops or better still high street shops and for what price. |

| Typically Moet consider 60,000 a limited release so to me it'll be available in sufficient quantities. The price is good considering what they've been charging recently which makes me even more suspicious. |

I wonder if Sainsburys will put it on offer in the run up to Christmas. Probably pick up a bottle now and if it is any good I will stock up if it goes on offer. Cheers William |

Hopefully a good whisky, if so should make a good Christmas present for a couple of people I usually buy a bottle for.
Sorren I always wonder if these releases are limited but that number wont be revealed as it is flexible depending on demand. Sounds like it is the standard Glenmo which would have been destined for the 10 year old married with some Lasanta so they could easlily bottle more if the demand is there. |
