What Scottish single malts and blends do you usually see in your given city's average family restaurant, not a bar , not a pub?

Here in Southern Ontario, Niagara, I usually come across Glenlivet 12, occasionally Glenfiddich 18, Dewar's, Famous Grouse, Ballantine's Finest, Chivas Regal 12, Glenfiddich 12. I know one restaurant that actually has Lagavulin 16.

Actually, some Chinese restaurants here have quite a few as well.

Mainly the standard blends such as Famous Grouse, Grants, Bells, Whyte & Mackay in an average family restaurant perhaps some entry level Glenfiddich and Glenlivets. Need to go a bit more up market to find a good selection of single malts.

Glenlivet 12
Johnnie walker Black ( everywhere)
Johnnie walker red ( can't even call it Whisky)

Some of the nice steak houses have oban 14 , Johnnie Walker Blue, and Highland Park 15.

The best Pub for Whisky ( that I've ever been to ) Feather's on Kingston Rd in Scarborough.

Over 300 hundred bottles and some of them are quite reasonably priced.

You're right about Feather's Pub. I've been there a few times and had a rare Port Ellen , Highland Park 30 Year, Ardbeg 27 Year and Ardbeg 32 year.
