Whisky has to suffer great hardships to satisfy all silly ideas of incompetent marketing staff:

The problem occurs when marketing department has to big budget and no useful ideas:

They could have used that video at the end of 2001 A Space Odyssey, the Movie. Way out there....kind of Stanley Kubrick..ish.

Actually, there's nothing wrong with the video: but from the marketing point of view it's just a silly, expensive project, with no results in sales, brand strengthening or any other marketing objective. Shocked

I agree with the video being excellent and my analogy to Kubrick reference was a compliment to the quality of the presentation. Kubrick was a master of using unusual shots and visual platforms.

Very Happy

I see it is on the Glenfiddich website and has had almost 6500 views in the 2 days since it was uploaded. I have to say I enjoyed watching it, whether it generates whisky sales, who knows and whether those sales recoup the cost involved in creating the video, who knows. It certainly holds your attention for a couple of minutes.
