|
|
Let's try another anagram puzzle.
Here are the letters below. What single malt distillery do they spell? No anagram software please.
For this one both right answer and time to solution will count. Time yourself please.
***This one I believe is much tougher than the last one.
There's yet again a little twist in this but I won't devulge what it is.
Here's the letters:
g n a a a d e h b r i n
I'll post the winner Saturday at 2 pm Scottish time. Just list time on this thread and keep the answer to yourself till I announce the winner on Saturday and hopefully the one with the quickest time also has the right answer.
Bragging rights to the winner!

Keep submitting times. Could be multiple ties for first! _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Hmm, usually quite good at these but this has me stumped.
As I've got a very short attention span, I've given up. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

I was way off - Alt-a-Bhainne (probably 3½ second glimpse was not enough). |

I decided to post the answer and winner about an hour sooner as I think those that were going to respond, already have.
The answer is ABHAINN-DEARG on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. It is the most westerly distillery in Scotland. The name is Scottish Gaelic for "red river".
The winner is SORREN with an exact time of "instant recognition", i.e., several seconds.
Congratulations Sorren and may you do as well in all your endeavors as you did in this anagram contest. You have full bragging rights.
