A new offering here in Ontario Canada, Ben Nevis The Maltman 18-Year-Old, Meadowside, 46% abv at $197 CDN. I gather this is a fairly new Independent Bottler though the Hart name is associated with it-Donald and Andrew. I understand there is also a 21 and 45 Year not available here.
The LCBO notes indicate:
Nuanced aromas and flavours of butterscotch, toffee, peach tea and smoke. Smooth and round with a spicy kick. Water reveals powerful subtleties and enhances the smooth, delicate mouthfeel.
Anyone familiar with this one, the 18 year? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Iv got the 21 year Port finnish official bottling and its unreal. Fantastic stuff. I vaguely recal someone on the forum recently buying an Inderpendent Ben Nevis? Either way I really like the distillery. Maybe worth a crack? |
