Second batch of Deanston 18

At the end of November Deanston will release second batch of Deanston 18yo.

I'm glad it's sells well because it's really good malt and distillery isn't well known:or maybe those batches are just very small.

Will be interesting to compare 1st batch with the new ones and see if quality will decline as is happened in similar cases.

I do rate Deanston's whiskies but I was slightly disappointed by the 18 year old so it'll be an interesting comparison with this 2nd batch.

I didn't get my bottle yet but at the distillery tasting this one was of the best.

I'm waiting for a bottle for the final verdict as I believe that only when you spend enough time with any whisky (with all up and downs of your taste plus different levels of oxidation) you can say that it's worth another go and become your regular dram or just stays in your memory (Little Black Book) as a footnote.
