|
|
It was another successful dinner and tasting at my single malt scotch club last night.
The 3 single malts that were presented were:
Old Pulteney Flotilla 2000, 14 year, 46.4% abv,
Benriach Sauterne Cask Finish, 15 year, 46% abv.
Ardbeg Perpetuum 49.2% abv., 50 ppm's
****The Benriach was a replacement for the G&M Glenrothes 18 which will be one of the whiskies at the next dinner and tasting in February.
***My taste notes for these three are now posted in the Taste Notes section of the Forum. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Thanks John. It was most enjoyable. Plenty of kilts, bagpipes, excellent food and comradeship and folks who know their scotch. A chap at my table was telling me about his experience in Las Vegas with Bowmore 40 Year. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

One question did the chaps experience in Las Vegas and a Bowmore 40 year old also involve a show girl , just joking, it is a dram out of most peoples league including mine, I would love to taste it but that is unlikely. |
