So, my 40th is coming up next summer. I'm thinking I'd like to treat myself.

I believe I have it down to two

1) Balvenie 25 year single barrel

2) Balvenie 30 year old

Both are about the same price here. 1000.00 Cdn

Thoughts?

I would love to get the Balvenie 40 year for my 40th........but that's gonna cost my first and second born. So that's out of the question.

If it is Balvenie you are after, I can highly recommend the Balvenie 30.

Both Balvenie are very good.. I think I would actually pick the 25 just because it is a single barrel.. The Glenfarclas 40 is superb but getting more expensive every day.. If you pick any of the 3 mentioned you will not be dissapointed..

Thanks!

Glenfarclas 40 year is not available in Ontario at the LCBO

Oldest is the 25 year old
