Well Sorren, no guesses what I'm going to say; get the 1991 Whisky Shop ! Green welly stop are doing the 3rd Glendronach 11 Y/O Single Cask with free delivery too.

I know people have had bad experiences with Whisky a Shop Dufftown, but I received mine with standard delivery, excellently packaged, and within 20hrs of purchase. And I live in London.

Plus look at that colour of the 1991?!

I know what you mean with the 91.. But I just think it is getting hard to find whisky from the 70s in that price range

that invergordon is lovely. i opened it last night. sweet, tinned fruits with toffee. rum-like. it's my first 'old' grain whisky - hopefully not my last!

also, i've used the wsd twice this year (online) with no issues. dhl are a good courier in my experience. in contrast to hermes - who are the absolute worst courier going. thankfully, no whisky retailer i've used uses them. i'd hate to find a whisky package in my recycling bin!

Oh god not dhl.. It just cost me £25 in phone calls to them to rede liver due to not waiting, I went outside to put rubbish in bin, came back and there was a card.. 1 min max didn't hear door bell or knock, dogs did not bark and that is unusual !! And what a suprise driver did not answer phone to turn round .. All this for a £40 bottle, £9 delivery and then £25 phone bill.. Lol

The colour is pretty fantastic. It's darker then an Aberlour A'Bunadh and I just put it up against a Strathmill 32 XOP and its only slightly lighter (Google that one tho, that's something else!)

I haven't yet so I can't give an opinion - it'll be open on Friday as its my special Christmas Whisky! So if you can wait till then I'll be happy to help.

I have, I had a wee sip about a month or so ago. It was something else, for £160 I would rate it 95/100.

Most Strathmills from active sherry casks are wonderful; would really like to try this XOP.
:. I just got 24yo from 1991 (PX Cask #11079 from The Maltman).
