I've compiled a list of distilleries and their whiskies and whether or not they contain caramel coloring for those that want something handy while whisky shopping:

Nice list!
I can say with 100% certainty that Bunnahabhain doesn't not contain colouring, states so on the bottle.
I also believe that Springbank, Benriach, Benromach, Glen Grant and Glenfarclas don't colour any of their whiskies.....may be wrong though.
Pretty sure Talisker Skye is coloured.
Arran do not colour any of their whisky. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

| As above - I was wondering about Glenfarclas. Bit gutted if the info is accurate and also seems strange that some distilleries add e150 to some expressions but not all. |

Few more to add to your list;
Glengyle (Kilkerran). Not coloured.
Balblair. Not coloured.
anCnoc. Not coloured. I think the 12 may have a touch, but it's very light.
Kilchoman. Not coloured. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

The list is good idea but as many works in progress, with many mistakes.
If you aren't sure about colouring of particular whisky, you can check labels in some EU countries (as Germany) where E150 has to be stated on the label by law.
: trip to Germany sounds as a great idea for holidays. |
