I was wondering if you had any suggestions regarding which websites are best for finding your whisky at the best price.
Someone told me about 'Wine searcher' which is pretty good.
Are you aware of any others like this?
Thanks

| It all depends on how often a price comparison website updates its product listings on whether it is any good or not. Personally when making a large buy I check out the main whisky shops myself. A few good ones are listed here http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/shops.htm and using the links here on this site supports this site and forum. |

Craig don't forget to check out www.amazon.co.uk who offer some very good prices these days and there are many sellers using Amazon now, also Amazon offer Free Delivery on orders over £20 which is quite a saving on a small order.
And as Bookie says don't forget to use the links here http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/shops.htm they support the running of this sire. |

It's certainly worth keeping an eye on Amazon's Lightening Deals. They are usually updated after 8pm for the following day, though occasionally new items are added after that time.
For example, the other day Balblair 1983 was on a Lightening Deal at £147 (I was tempted by it but forgot the time of the deal). The day before there were Talisker's Distiller's Edition £39.36, Glenlivet 18 £44.72 and Glenmorangie Quinta Ruben £42.50 amongst others (I picked up the Glenlivet and Glenmorangie). |
