Wowsers. Funnily enough I was wondering today what I could grab at the airport next month. It won't be this.
I picked up a 25 year old for not much more than this 2/3 years back.
I would like to give this a sample though. |

I haven't seen it at the airport yet, I will be passing through Glasgow airport on Friday and will be on the lookout for it but World of Whiskies can be slow sometimes to add new whiskies to the shelves. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

| Interesting, I am a big Talisker fan but at this price for a NAS I would have to sample it or read some very good reviews of it first. |

| £115 isn't way over the top if it is very good and if I knew for sure there was a good portion of older stuff in it. I will watch out for reviews I think. |

| Bit confused about this one. Have seen it a handful of times on the continent for less than €90. |

An apt quote from this article I read on BBC news today (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35300685)
"Once you're selling everything you make, it's a licence to print money," says whisky consultant Jim Swan.
"An entry level single malt whisky [from an independent distillery] might cost £45, with a profit of £15 per bottle," he says.
"And once people are spending money on more expensive whisky, then you could be looking at 90% profit per bottle."
......enough said. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

I really enjoy Talisker, but that sort of price for a NAS. No thanks. Isn't that what y'all call taking the ***? |

| Darwin I have been drinking Glenmorangie Signet for a few years, it has no age statement and is priced similarly and I have no complaints. Yes I would rather see an age statement to qualify the price but it isn't always a rip off. Just my experience. |

| It may be a quality NAS like Uigeadail or others but will have to wait and see what the verdict is. The travel retail exclusives are often a bit dubious. Such as Bowmore Black Rock.. |
