Independent whisky bottler Hunter Laing & Co have submitted an application to Argyll and Bute Council to build a new malt whisky distillery on Islay at Ardnahoe, on the North East coast of the island.
If all goes well with the application which should take 21 days, the time it takes for public consultation, building work should begin on the new £8 million Islay distillery in May 2016.

| I would guess it will be around the scale of production of Kilchoman with pricing along the same lines as Kilchoman come 2021 |

| another peated Islay malt is always welcome. I would think you will be correct Kenny and they will follow Kilchomans business model in 4 years time when stock starts coming of age. Small expensive limited releases. |
