Depends what I'm having, but generally yes. A quick rinse with tap water and a dry with a towel so there isn't any residual or smell.
If you're not too fussed about thinking too much about what your drinking then no need I guess. I've just got OCD...... _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |

I'm the same as Opel. Hot tap, clean tea towel, have the glass spotless. If your drinking expensive stuff then even more reason. I even do it if I'm having the same whisky.
I guess it's up to the person, I never understood it when someone in the pub would say "just put it in there love" and hand over the pint glass or whatever. Strange [/url] |

| I generally clean the glass out when changing from one whisky to another but not when drinking the same whisky, I only ask because a few people have made comment about me cleaning my glass between drinks i assumed it was standard practice with whisky |

| I clean my glass out after ever whisky, but I will generally use a couple of different glasses if having more than one whisky in the night.. I generally use water out of the kettle that has been boiled earlier to clean the glass out.. |

I use a new/clean glencairn glass for every different dram in a session. I wash up the glasses at the end. The peaty expressions require a drop of dish detergent when cleaning, Speysides often just a rinse _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I'm sure whatever you do to clean your glass will be right, I just find boiled water does not leave any taints.. I will generally leave the water in the glass for 15-20 mins.. I'm fairly lucky though as like many on here I have quite a collection of glasses so I can be lazy with them lol |

| I always change glasses with the change of whisky (an old wine habit). |

| For me it's plenty of glasses means plenty of options but hot water as said before does the trick |
