Douglas Laing has added another Cask Strength edition to their Remarkable Regional Malts range. They have just announced the release of Rock Oyster Cask Strength Limited Edition, an Island region blended malt whisky.
Created using a selection of single malts sourced from the region it represents, namely whiskies distilled on the Islands of Jura, Islay, Arran and Orkney.
Similar to the other cask strength Remarkable Regional Malts such as Big Peat it is a limited release (or perhaps it should be called a small batch release).Bottled at a cask strength of 57.3% ABV, non chill-filtered and no added colouring. It will be priced around £50
It should be available from specialist whisky shops such as The Whisky Exchange
