Hi Gregor
I know it was available to members of Friends of Laphroaig, not sure if it is now available on general release as i havent saw it anywhere yet.

Laphroaig did send out a newsletter saying it was available for Friends of Laphroaig to buy, i didnt bother as i still have 3 bottles of the Laphroaig 15 year old which i picked up from my local Tesco at the beginning of the year which where priced to clear at only £25.
I have heard good things about the 18 year old, people who have tried it do seem to say it beats the 15 year old which i like very much. I will try it when i have gotten through the 15 year olds i have.

I picked up about a month ago when i visited the Laphroaig distillery shop. Seumas behind the bar said it was just out and yet to appear in the shops.
It was £42 and worth it. Much better than the 15yo. Havent seen it elsewhere yet though. The wee grocers in Port Ellen had quiet a few 'old' bottlings in the window at good prices too. Just in case anyone is across for Feis Ile. _________________ Slainte mhath - a h-uile la a chi is nach fhaic.
