Whisky Forum - Posting whisky to USA and Europe

Im looking into posting some whisky to Europe and USA and its a bit of a minefield!!

Does anyone have experience of this?
Whats the best courier to use?
Likely costs?
I want to send two bottles to Germany
One bottle to Sweden
One to Maine, USA

Any help would be appreciated

I sent whisky to the US a few years ago via royal mail airmail but I believe they don't take alcohol by airmail now so you will be looking at a courier. Contact courier companies such as FedEx or UPS, they should be able to advise you on costs and taxes etc for each destination you are posting to.

be very careful royal mail have changed there rules you can contact them about it as far as I know you cannot send alcohol by them outside of the uk

you would need to speak to people like fed ex about posting

it is a bit of a mine field check before you send anything as you will be the loser

haven't you noticed the amount of whisky auctions as they are a business so slightly easier for them
