Ledaig has released a peated sherry cask matured limited edition Ledaig 1996 vintage.
This Ledaig 1996 20 year old whisky contains some of the first spirit distilled, when peated single malt production started at the Isle of Mull distillery back in 1996.
It was bottled at 46.3% ABV and has an RRP of £120

| Yes this one does sound tempting, you don't see much new from Ledaig these days but they do seem to have got there act together as far as using decent casks is concerned. Hopefully they have found an example of a decent sherry cask from 20 years ago. |

| Thumbs up for the Cadenhead Ledaig 1992, bottled at 23 years of age and 55% if you're looking for another one worth trying. |
