Looking for your thoughts on the Balvenie 30.
Is this release such a special dram, that the nectar inside would command such a price? |

It is an outstanding dram but like many whiskies of this age from an iconic distillery such as the Balvenie you are paying a huge premium for a combination of the rarity of the whisky and the name of the whisky.
It will not disappoint if you are a Balvenie fan, whether you find it worth the price tag only you can say, it is over what I would pay for it nowadays, around £700 now, but I have had a couple of bottles in the past for less than half that amount and was very happy with it. |

| As said it is a lovely dram but these days it is hard to justify a price tag..my only thought is it will keep going up in price so if you fancy some, get it while you can |
