Benromach Imperial Proof which is also known as the Benromach 100° Proof has picked up a top award at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Under its Benromach Imperial Proof name, the whisky has just picked up Best Distillers’ Single Malt Scotch in the category for Scotch whisky up to 12 Years Old at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

| I hadn't realised that the Benromach 100° Proof and Benromach Imperial Proof were the same whisky, I just assumed that the Imperial Proof was a US exclusive. It is an very good whisky by the way, whatever you call it, and worth the few pounds more than you pay for the standard 10 year old. |
