Distillery Team Offer Dram at 2150ft
Dedicated staff from Benromach Distillery in Forres will be hosting what could be Scotland's most rugged whisky tasting yet - as they set up on a mountain to offer a much-needed dram to thousands of participants in the Ten Under The Ben biking marathon.
A five-strong contingent from Benromach will be taking part in the ten-hour cycling race, which is taking place at Nevis Range and Lochaber Rural Complex on Saturday May 30 2009.
The Benromach team will then make their way by gondola to the Snowgoose Restaurant - at 2150ft - to give fellow competitors the chance to relax and sample a few malt whiskies. Expressions on offer will include Benromach Traditional, Organic, Peat Smoke and Marsala Wood Finish.
The tasting is open to any registered participant in the race who is over the age of 18.
