Hi
I have a bottle of whiskey that I would like valued please. I was given it as a gift about 9 years ago.
It has the name "First Cask 1975 highland malt whiskey" on the label. It has a certificate in the box that says "Glenlivet Single Cask Malt Whisky 1974"
Distilled 27 March 1974, Bottled February 1999
The first cask Malt Whisky Circle.
The bottle has a cask number handwritten 7282 and bottle number 217
It's 46% vol 70cl
Many thanks

Hi Andy
Not sure if you know already that The First Cask Malt Circle was a membership Whisky club run by Laithwaites Wine. A single cask was bottled every quarter and distributed to members. I dont think it is still going now. I think the bottles sold for around £50 at the time. Hope that helps with your valuation.

Hi Mac
That's great and thanks for your help.
I was given the whisky as a gift, it's more of a sentimental value. The gentleman who gave it to me was a close friend and sadly passed away a couple of years ago.
Thanks again
