I have friends coming home from England. Says they can hit the Duty free at Manchester for me.
Does anyone know what's available ? I'm looking for the Balvenie 21 portwood or the Glengoyne 25 year? Maybe the Macallan Estate Reserve.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Pricing would be helpful as well |

I believe there is a World of Whiskies store at Manchester airport so you can have a look at their website http://www.worldofwhiskies.com/
Looks like they no longer stock Glengoyne and they only seem to have the travel retail exclusive Balvenie Triple Cask range of whiskies.
If you know where your friends are staying in the UK you could order from The Whisky Exchange to deliver to where they are staying. |

Ya, had a look at the world of Whisky site. Pretty limited. She is leaving tomorrow evening, so no time to order.
I was looking at the Glenfiddich age of discovery II bottle |

I am through Glasgow airport World of Whiskies shop every week and they still have a number of bottles of the Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 2 which is outstanding, it isn't listed on their website but they may also have some available in Manchester. Don't quote me on this but I think the price tag is £220 if not I am sure I am not far out.. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |
