I am sure it will be good but you really need reviews of whiskys from distillerys like this before parting with this amount of cash. Tobermory was quite widely effected by poor cask selection quite a few years back, much improved in modern times but this whisky dates back to a time when quality was not as it was today. As I said I am sure it will be good if they are confident enough to put this price tag on it but iwhiskies like this really should have independent reviews to justify the price before buying.

I make it £1,625,000 the release and if the release in the domestic market was around the same amount of bottles then it would be over £3 million for the 2 releases and I doubt any distillery will risk effecting sales and the profit involved by letting the whisky be reviewed, its all about the packaging and rare age statement now. Of course if Tobermory are reading this I am willing to review it for free with the upmost honesty Very Happy

Are any of these actually sold for drinking?
I mean short of a chinese millionaire or russian ogliarch who could afford to drink them?
Perhaps there are people out there and im just out of touch or a penniless urchin.
