The new Glen Moray Classic Sherry Cask Finish launches this July, it was matured in American oak casks before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks for a minimum of 8 months. Yes it is young but it is also fun and very enjoyable, at £22 a bottle you just have to!

It will be available in Sainsbury's supermarkets from July. You can read my review here:

I picked up a botte of the standard (non-sherry finish) version of this for £17 in Morrisons a couple of weeks ago. Yes it's young, chill-filtered and if the colour is anything to go by contains a healthy dose of E150a but it's really not bad at all for the money - sure there is much better whisky out there but as an everyday dram it was perfectly drinkable and makes a good whisky and ginger ale cocktail for the warmer evenings we've enjoyed of late. If I see this new version in my local supermarket I may well give it a try.

Sounds good William, I would be up to try this, hopefully Sainsbury's in Northern Ireland stock it but I wont hold my breath as they don't stock the Port Finish or Peated.

Picked up a bottle of the new sherry cask finish and the Glen Moray Peated today in Sainsburys. Will give them a try at the weekend.

I picked up a bottle of the sherry cask finish in Sainsbury's yesterday, had a couple of drams last night, as William says young and fun for the price.

The sherry version is a decent dram for the money.. It won't set the world on fire and it won't dissapoint.. Well worth the money 👍
