| Is anyone else slightly disappointed by the Benriach 10? I've now returned to my half-empty bottle after a few months but my impressions now are the same as when I opened it, i.e. I expected more. There's nothing wrong with it per se, it just has some slightly 'wacky' notes that don't do anything for me. I suspect this must be to do with the type of sherry casks used in some of the maturation, but not sure. |

| I have only had 1 bottle and got through it quickly and I did enjoy it, but whisky can change over time once opened but as I said mine wasn't opened long. |

I had this problem too.
Nothing wrong with it. It's a good whisky for the price. the problem was that I was expending more due to Benriachs other offering and general excellent standard. It doesn't quite stand up to the rest.
As I say, not bad, just an expectation fail. _________________ "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whisky is barely enough." |
