I was considering purchasing a bottle of this. It's $55. Help me out people. Is this a good investment? Have any of you had it? I normally drink Dewars White.

It's a good place to start exploring different flavor profiles, I've gone through
several bottles. currently working on a Pulteney 17 pricier than the 12
so I only get 1 or 2 a year.
another one to try is Aultmore 12, similar style as the Pulteney 12
good price around $55.00 in California

Old Pulteney is a good whisky. I would say if you like Dewar's White Label then take a look as Aberfeldy 12 year old as Aberfeldy is a main component whisky of Dewar's

Had more than a few bottles of the Old Pulteney 12 in the past, often found on offer here for not much more than Â£23 and a good whisky for that price.

The Aberfeldy 12 is also a good suggestion given its influence on the Dewars White Label which you already enjoy..
