| I bought a bottle of this based on the strength of multiple comments on this board, but it is disappointing. It is mostly tasteless and overly alcoholic. Adding water makes it less alcoholic, more watery, and still mostly tasteless. It seems to have half the flavor of many that are half the price. Did I just get a bad batch? |

| I think you will find the Glenlivet 16 year old is highly rated by many whisky drinkers including myself. Not sure what you mean by "Unpeated" |

| I believe that you have to try Glenlivet Nadurra Peated. |

| There are now a few different expressions of the Glenlivet Nadurra, the 16 year old was the original expression which I thought was very good, it is a batch released whisky so it did vary in each batch but was pretty consistent in quality in my experience. The original Glenlivet Nadurra 16 year old was not peated but it didn't state "Unpeated" in its title. There is also a no age statement Glenlivet Nadurra Peated Whisky Cask Finish which I didn't rate quite as highly as the original 16 year old but still a good whisky. |

| The store had two versions of Nadurra: "Peated" and "Unpeated" - it was a major part of the name, not just little letters under the label. I got Unpeated to get the famous bourbon vanilla notes. But it tastes like a little Johnny Walker Red mixed with a lot of vodka. |

Be interesting to see a picture of it. What's the ABV? |

Perhaps it is new packaging and with that a new batch, the Nadurra 16 year old I know looks like this
No mention of "Unpeated" in its name. |
