The Whisky Exchange have released a new version of Port Askaig. It's an 8yo single malt & TWE are selling it at £39.99 which is a good price. This bottle of 8yo Port Askaig is warming and smoky with notes of limestone, liquorice and dark peat.
It does sound an interesting bottle of single malt. |

| I would have to hear good things about it before it could tempt me away from the excellent Port Askaig 100 Proof which is only a fiver more and although a no age statement whisky I would guess 100 Proof is around 8 years old. |

| I've got the 16yo Port Askaig & it's really good. Will certainly try the 8yo especially if it's only £39.99 a bottle. |
