| Will anyone actually purchase this to drink or is it purely a collectors item to be stored for later profit? |

| We are seeing this 35cl bottle size more and more with the premium top end bottlings, it makes me think these are created for collecting rather than drinking although I am sure they are all very good. |

| Probably good news for anyone with a bottle of The Balvenie Craftman's Reserve The Cooper 15 year old tucked away in the cupboard, it has probably just rocketed in value, I wish I hadn't drunk mine now but it was a superb whisky. |

They are 70cl, I bought the 30 year old from chapter 1 in Dubai airport on its own and that is 70cl. They made 156 of these and 50 were part of the full set with the remainder of the 30 year old sold at travel retail around the world.
The confusion maybe that some sites who sell the 5 bottles together state the content is 3500cl. |

| Opps my apologies, I had got it into my head that they were 35cl bottles, I am sure I read that somewhere. The confusion must have been caused by the full set being 3500cl as torcross points out. Still out my price range unfortunately. |

£700 for a 15 year old Balvenie?! I've seen Port Ellen sell for less! |
