Originally not scheduled for release until early 2017 Highland Park FIRE Edition is the 2nd release in a two part limited edition mini series of whiskies form the Orkney distillery, ICE Edition was the 1st release.
Presented in a distinctive black volcano looking wooden cradle, Highland Park FIRE Edition has been matured exclusively in refill Port wine seasoned casks, it is naturally coloured and bottled at 45.2% ABV.

| I would love to try this but they have got a little too greedy with their pricing, probably why the HP ICE hasn't sold out yet. I noticed the HP ICE sells at auction for around £150 - £160 which is less than its RRP of £190. Of course all you need is some reviews declaring the new Highland Park Fire as brilliant and it could sell out easily. |

I agree. It's going to have to taste amazing to justify a price tag like that, especially being 2 years younger than the ICE but with the same price tag. I can see why they took away their standard 15yo, which was £65, to make way for the FIRE at 3 times the price. At least it's red, which is more visually appealing IMO than the green ICE. That looked more like washing up liquid. Putting a light behind the FIRE could look quite dramatic. |

| I'm a huge Highland Park fan but those bottles turn me off. I prefer a bottle that looks like a bottle. |
