Just seen the Malt Manics Awards of there annual awards for 2016.
It has got me thinking what whisky (Malt,Grain,Blend) have been your outstanding 'Top 3'.
I've really had some outstanding stuff and know my top 3 but I'm stuck between 1/2.
Your thoughts ladies and gents please! |

Great thread! Will watch the results with interest...
I'm a malt novice just a year in to my journey so my contributions won't be all that unusual or esoteric I'm afraid. Anyway these are what have impressed me based on your categories...
Malt: Yamazaki 18
Grain: Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky
Blend: Compass Box Spice Tree |

Too many drams over the past year make this a very tough call, but here goes...
Malt - Kilkerran 12yo
Grain - Creative Whisky Company, 10yo Girvan
Blend - That Boutiquey Whisky Company, Blended Whisky #1 35yo |
