Anybody seen it in tesco? Since this whisky has been around I've never seen it in tescos, my friends main supermarket is tescos and he's never seen it and to be honest I've never seen it on there app, any reason for this as it's been out a while now.

It was originally launched exclusively in Sainsbury's followed by Ocado http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/glenmorangiemidwinternightsdram.htm

then it later appeared in Morrisons.

On some occasions when it is a limited release we only see the release available in the smaller supermarket chains, being a limited release there is not always enough to supply the bigger supermarkets chains like Tesco. I recall Glenmorangie releasing whiskies exclusively in Sainsburys in the past such as the Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or 15 year old as opposed to the 12 year old we are familiar with, the Nectar D'Or 15 was a cracking whisky by the way I got 3 bottles at the time and they are now long gone, I wish I had got more.

To be honest @ the £25 price (and currently £22 in Costco) I couldn't fault it. As NASs go it offers another dimension to the 10yo which is possibly the most inoffensive dram out there and let's people try a different profile at entry level prices.

I recall the Sainsburys exclusive Glenmorangie Nectar D'or 15 you mention William. Another example of a supermarket exclusive was the Glenfiddich Toasted Oak 12 year old in Tesco quite a few years ago now, it was very good.

I am positive. the Toasted Oak was only available in Tesco as I particularly liked it and it was a regular buy for me when it came out around 2006. I recall getting 6 bottles from Tesco when they discontinued it. Perhaps in Scotland it was only available in Tesco

Both my wife and I really enjoy Glenmo's Midwinter expression.

It is perhaps a fraction expensive at the £40 RSP. Not at £23.98 in Costco

I'm not the only one who keeps mixing this up with Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold, am I? I'm always seeing that one in the supermarkets at reduced prices.
