|
|
Perusing the offerings here in Ontario Canada, it is somewhat difficult to find single malts that sell at $60. dollars or under that are pretty good drams. However, they do exist and here's a list of them:
Glenrothes Select Reserve
Auchentoshan 12
Aberfeldy 12
Aberlour 10
Ardmore Legacy
Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve
Highland Park 10
Tomatin 12
Auchentoshan American Oak
Singleton of Dufftown 10
Glen Moray 12
I know the selection at this price point would be much greater in Scotland and elsewhere in UK. What would you consider the best bottles/whisky expressions available at the 37£ equivalent or less in your location for a reasonably good or tasty single malt? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| Would have to check prices but prob very similar to your list although I don't rate the Glenrothes select cask, the toshans are of course good value and Aberlour 10 and 12 can be found for sub £32, Aberfeldy 12, glen Moray Sherry finish for around £22 is a must for me, Glen Scotia double cask can creep into this bracket and is great.. Paul John Brillisnce is around £32-35 and is a great malt too.. Balvenie Doublewood , and Caribbean cask just comes into the bracket and the Glenfiddich 15 can sometimes hit it.. There is many more too.. |

Wow clearly we pay more here. Think only the Aberlour 10 is close to $60 in Ontario from this list.
Talsker/Dalwhinnie /Ardbeg are around 100
I'd like to try Aberfeldy 12, Benromach 10 and Bowmore small batch as well under 60.
I enjoy Glenfiddich 12. |
