The Benromach distillery today unveiled its latest vintage addition to its limited edition Heritage range, the Benromach 1975 single cask single malt whisky. The Benromach 1975 was matured for over 41 years in a single cask, Cask No. 3434, a refill American Hogshead which has produced an outturn of only 162 bottles.

| Another one for the wish list, good to see a whisky of this age that hasn't been matured or rejuvenated in sherry casks or some type of wine cask. Still out of my everyday dramming budget. |

Still out of my everyday dramming budget. | That's true Crane you do not see many whiskies at this age without some kind of sherry or wine influence. They must be sure it is a good one to bottle it without any finish and put a £1250 price on it. |
