|
|
GlenDronach have partnered with 20th Century Fox to mark the release of the "Kingsman The Golden Circle" movie with the launch of The GlenDronach Kingsman Edition 1991 Vintage.
Ahead of the movie hitting the cinema screens I got the chance to taste the limited edition 25 year old expression and it is a truly stunning sherried expression from the GlenDronach even amongst their high standards.
You can read a bit about the movie and new whisky, I have added my review of the whisky to the bottom of the page here:

| Great review William, I am very envious, sounds like a cracking whisky and probably around the age where Glendronach does get exceptionally good. |

| Nice review, I would love to taste this one but too rich for me, I see that it has sold out already, the power of Holywood. I will have to make do with an occasional single cask release. |

| I was tempted to get a bottle but for this price I think a bottle or two of the single cask edition would be money better spent. Envious of anyone lucky enough to try it though. |

To coincide with the general release in cinemas of the Kingsman: The Golden Circle movie today, Old Forester Kentucky Bourbon has released a new straight bourbon whiskey, named Old Forester Statesman, which plays an integral role in the movie.
Old Forester Statesman Whiskey is produced at the Brown-Foreman Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky with the same mash bill as Old Forester and will be available from today priced £45 from Amazon

| They certainly seem to be having some auction success already indicating either that retail stock has gone or that certain markets did not receive them. |
