Hi everyone,

I have a very rare limited edition Hibiki 17 Year Old Kacho Fugetsu in the Chrysanthemum and Crane style bottle that I'm reluctantly considering parting from. There's only 600 bottles in existence, or so I'm told. I just wanted a show of hands of who would be interested in it and what someone would be willing to offer for it? The lovely ornate glass makes it a lovely collectors item should you resist the urge to drinki it first!

Looking at the Scotch Whiskey Auctions you can pick them up between £190-£220, depends what you paid really as you don't want to lose money I'd assume?

That may be for the cheapest bottles, and that wouldn't include 20% fees plus shipping (whatever their particular rate is). Catawiki sold the same bottle for £347 + shipping. Obviously prices vary enormously
. I hope people can feel free to make a reasonable sensible offer for a lovely whisky.

be careful about catawaki prices they are putting the sending of bottles up to you by saying it is up to you to know your customs rules which most people don't know there own customs rules

also the seller doesn't get the full amount of what is bid so the real price is lower
