Website's been gubbed since 0830. Twitter suggests the sale is going to be delayed a week while they sort out their IT. Again.
Seems a shame they've gone back to the flakey Ardbeg.com infrastructure after the much more robust MH setup was introduced.
Postponed release date appears to have been confirmed by Ardbeg.de - https://twitter.com/Ardbeg_de/status/973886145477083137 |

Ardbeg has issued an apology for the failure of the website today:
| Quote: | Dear Committee Member
We may have rolled back the years a little too far. Our website ran into a technical hitch and we’re working to fix the issue as quickly as possible.
Please rest assured, Ardbeg Grooves hasn’t gone anywhere. We hope to be up and running again soon so you’ll have a chance of getting your hands on a bottle.
As you know, being a Committee Member means we like to keep you in the loop, and you’ll be the first to know the new date you will be able to buy Ardbeg Grooves.
I would like to thank you for your patience and we hope you’ll accept our sincere apologies.
Slà inte!

I was told today that it was an issue of too much traffic overloading the servers and it affected the release in Germany, France and UK.
The new date for the launch will be announced in the next couple of days, but it will probably be next week. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

Clicked the link at 10:01 (ish). Still waiting in the queue. Anyone had success yet
| Quote: | Groove on down the line...
We know you're eager to get hold of a bottle of Ardbeg Grooves but we've learned from our past hiccups and so to help manage the demand we're holding you in a queue before you can hit the shop.
Please don't navigate away from this page as it will refresh automatically (even if you can't tell) and you'll be redirected as soon as there's space. There may be a wait, so grab a coffee...(it is, after all, a bit early for a dram)? |
