Hi everyone
I have recently picked this up at an airport. Stood out as one of the few age-stated, non-chill filtered and natural colour whiskies in duty free!
Couldn't seem to find much on it online. I'm intending to open it soon but has anyone tried or heard anything about it?
Some info here:

There is always a lack of reviews on the travel retail exclusive stuff, and the airport shelves do seem to be overloaded with over priced no age statement whisky these days, as if being travel retail exclusive justifies a higher price.
I have always found Balblair to be consistent with the quality of their whisky, I hope this 1999 Vintage is a good one, do let us know what you think when you crack it open. |

| I had a bottle of the first release and it was brilliant. The best balblair I have had - easily 88+ points. |

| Thanks for your comments. Opened it this afternoon! Very nice indeed, a lot of flavours coming through. It is also quite powerful and assertive - which I quite like. Not finished full review yet. |
