Hi,
Can't find out much about this bottling! Seems like a very unique concept. Has anyone ever had a taste/dram of this? Is it heavily peated (which i would like). I might put a bid in for this, would be a good talking point in my whisky collection.
I know very little about this bottle any help would be much appreciated.

| It wasn't a peat monster but still a good portion of peat in it, I was never convinced the bog oak cask ends used to create it had added that much to it, perhaps it was fruitier. Maybe worth £240 plus as a collectable whisky but not as a drinker IMO. It is worth noting that I am not the biggest fan of the Connemara peaty whiskies. |

Thanks for the great info Islay Pete.......very interesting your take on the Bog Oak........makes me want to taste it even more. I love a good peat monster too. I just could never get my hands on this, never seen anything like this concept tried before. I would love to add it to my collection and maybe open it for a special occasion. |
