| For me both are very good whisky's but I would say the Glenlivet 18 is undoubtedly the better of the two. Having said that the way the Glenlivet 18 price has gone lately 2 or 3 bottles of the Kilkerran 12 for the same price is tempting. |

| That's true I didn't consider that. I think it's actually £60. I think that's a decent price. Thanks for the advice. |

Personally I would take the kilkerran over the 18..
The last 18 I had I found ok but nothing outstandingly different or that interesting tbh..
Where as the kilkerran is a stunning dram in my view. I bought a bottle when it was released, drank half, kept the rest and had one the other night. Lovely, complex and top value for money.
I wanted to try the 18 too so fair enough to make your own mind up but definitely get a kilkerran at some point..
Tell you what Gazrob, pm me if you want a sample..
Best have both |

| Both are good in there own way, Glenlivet 18 does vary in quality but never had a bad one and I could say the same for Kilkerran. As pointed out grab the Glenlivet 18 at the cheaper price if you can as prices will certainly not be coming back down and who knows how high they will go, Kilkerran 12 will still be available around its current price for some time I would think. |
