G & M Private Collection Inverleven 1985 & Glenrothe

Gordon & MacPhail today unveiled a new look for its Private Collection range and they are debuting the new look bottle and packaging with the launch of a rare Inverleven 1985 33 Year Old and a Glenrothes 1974 44 Year Old single malt.



As you can imagine with two whiskies such as these you will need deep pockets if you want to taste them.

Inverleven is one I haven't tried but this is a little rich for me for an everyday drammer so I doubt that I will be tasting this one.

I would love to see the list of stock from the 26 closed distilleries G & M has in their warehouses.

I can't say that I am a fan of the "ridged" bottles, although they may look better up close.

i must admit i like the look of the bottles just cant afford the whisky inside them they make the bottle less fakeable ??

I do appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into the boxes for these premium whisky releases and I do wonder what happens to them once the whisky has been drunk.
