Old Pulteney this week unveiled their new look core range which is made up of three new single malt whiskies plus one old favourite. The new core range line-up now consists of Old Pulteney 12 Year Old, Old Pulteney Huddart, Old Pulteney 15 Year Old and Old Pulteney 18 Year Old sitting at the top of the range.

The new 15 and 18 have a lot to live up to given the quality of the 17 and 21 they are replacing and given the asking price of the new whiskies I would expect them to be exceptionally good.

Good to see that they have bottled everything at 46% above the 12 year old. James I agree the new whiskies have a lot to live up to.

There soon wont be any 18 year old whiskies under £100, but will they be left on the shelves to collect dust.

I would have loved to have seen them take this opportunity to turn up the strength on the 12 year old to 46%, I would have paid a few more pounds for it.
